The holiday season is a great reminder of the quality of life Cedar County offers us. It also offer's us variety events that reinforces the many of the important ingredients that makes up a good life; cooperation, collaboration, and community. These events encourage us to put aside our differences, work toward a common goal, and bring our community together just a little bit more. It takes the work of many volunteers like you. If you are unable to volunteer this time to help with one of the events, you can still support them with your attendance.
Each of our communities makes the effort to kick off the holidays in a special way. Like this weekend event of Christmas Past in West Branch, Christmas in Clarence, Lowden's Annual Christmas Kickoff, Standwood Community Christmas, Michanicsville Holiday event or Bennett Christmas walk. Any one of these events is a wonderful oppertunity to gain some holiday cheer, see your neighbor and meet the big guy himself, Ol'd Saint Nick, a.ka. Santa. While your their take time to support support local business by doing your holiday shopping. If you looking for a really unique grift you can buy local through area crafters. Most of our city events includes a craft show such as Tipton's Tour of Light. During the event there will be a holiday Craft Show on Saturday December 10th, 2016 4-8 pm at 313 Cedar Street Tipton. You will find some unique holiday gifts or make your own at the Tipton FFA & Alumni "Make it & Take It" booth at the show.
