A couple of great Cedar County community celebrations will be happening on August 5th and 6th, 2016 in Tipton and West Branch. The City of West Branch will host Hoover’s Hometown Days, the City’s premier event of the summer. For two days, downtown West Branch will come to life with music for every taste, including the 34th Army Band and the Dean-O-Holics headlining the event. There will be food throughout. Have fun and support West Branch's Volunteer Fire Department by attending live music and dancing both nights at the station. The weekend continues until Saturday night's captivating fireworks. Three of West Branch’s leading organizations—The City of West Branch, Herbert Hoover National Historic Site, and Main Street West Branch—are all working together in a spirited collaboration to make the weekend a success.
